Killtec ultra
Insecticide for spray-on and paint-on application to control stable flies, with fast, safe, and long-term effect
Killtec ultra is effective immediately to control all flying insect pests in the stable, barn, and storeroom and lasts up to 4 weeks.
Spray-on:
Pour the content of the Killtec ultra bottle (1000 ml) into 10 litres of water and stir. Spray the resulting emulsion in a targeted way onto the spots that flies prefer (walls, ceilings, posts, window and door frames) (approx. 40 ml/sq. mtr). The effect on flies is immediate. It is sufficient to treat approx. 40% of the wall surfaces where flies like to be.
Paint-on: Dissolve 2 kg of sugar in 10 l of warm water and mix the content of the Killtec ultra bottle (1000 ml) into it. Use a brush to apply this solution to the surfaces that flies prefer, but that cannot be reached and licked by the livestock. It is sufficient to treat approx. 40% of the wall surfaces where flies like to be.
Remark:
The biocidal effect is immediate. Do not apply directly to livestock.
Note: When this box is used up, applying another active substance is recommended to avoid flies’ growing resistant. Our LD 100/Killtec ultra System was developed specifically with different active substances that allow alternation of preparations, thereby largely eliminating resistance issues. Feel free to ask you dealer for the next box.
Recommendation:
The application of our fly control products should be enhanced by larva control measures targeting the slurry pits or the bedding of calf pens. To this end, we recommend our Fly tomb to control maggots.
